Interview with Dawn Marie Legatt, Sign Parties 101
I teach and support entrepreneurs in how to start and grow their own DIY craft business through in-person parties and take home kits!
I was a stay at home mom of seven littles when I started my own sign party business that led me to buy my first laser.
I wanted to add options to my own sign parties at first (give my customers a 3D experience rather than just a stencil), and then it turned into helping others grow their businesses as well.
It’s not even comparable! The versatility that the laser brings gives me so many more options that I can use in my own local business, but also that I can use to support other makers in their business journey as well.
I’ve been able to expand my business enough to retire my husband from his powerline career to be home with us and homeschool our youngest three kids. I’ve also been able to hire and support employees because of the laser and move our family of nine across the country to where we’ve wanted to be.
Having had seven babies at home with no drugs, lol! – But a serious answer would be balancing a large family and a large multi-faceted business, while still having free time! :)
